A weddingcard using Tilda with Love Rice

Hi everyone!!!
Well it's time for some more cards I think ;o)
My friend, Jónína, also asked me to make a weddingcard for her, she is attending a wedding in June and needed a card.
Well, I don't have any weddingstamps so I had a little problem on my hands. I checked out Papirloftet, a Norwegian online Scrapbookingstore, but they didn't have anything that I liked. So... I desided to go with the Magnolia stamp "Tilda with Love Rice" and it really came out quite well, I think!
The papers are from Bazzill and The Paper Company. Flowers are from Prima and the roses are from Papirloftet. I also used the Flower lace punch from Martha Stewart. I don't know where the charm is from, sorry. Tilda is coloured with waterpencils (but Copics are on my wishlist, that's for sure!). I also added Stickles glitter to the roses, Tilda's bow, apron, shoes, hearts in the basket and to the hearts she is throwing in the air.
Here is a close-up of the Stickles glitter, I overdoesed it with glitter!!! Wedding is all about the glitter, right???
Here is a close-up of the roses in the bottom right corner. They got some Stickles glitter as well.
Here we have a close-up of the flower/rose combination, charm and the "weddingday" stamp that has 3D cutions under.
Here we have more of a closup of the flower/rose combination and the charm. The rose has a Stickles glitter. I made a bow to fasten the charm in and glued it on.

Well, that's it for tonight.
Now, I'm just gonna lay back and relax. I've been over my head in the kitchen the last two days baking for my 30th birthday, that's TOMORROW!!!
I feel like I'm turning old... :o/

Graduation card, blog hop and a sketch from Friday Sketchers!!!

Hello everyone!!!
Well, here I am with my newest card :D
This one is made for my oldest and dearest friend of all, Jónína.
Her brother is gratuating soon as a carpenter (not finished with the workpart though, only school) and she asked me to make a card for him.
This card is made with the Friday Skechers sketch 101
That sketch was designed my dear Jacque and of course I had to participate!!!
This is a Magnolia image, Edwin with a balloon, papers are from Bazzill, Shabby princess and DCWV.
I also used my new Nestabilities classic oval circle and classic scalloped circle. I gave myself those two Nestabilities sets as a birthday present because I'm turning 30 on Sunday, May 16th!!! :O

Since the boy is graduating as a carpenter, I wanted to have some screws on the card because I felt it needed a connection to his gratuation. I tried to find a Magnolia Edwin which had a hammer in his hand, but didn't find one... So, this was the best thing I could do. The screws are from Tim Holtz (the small ones) and I think the large ones are from Making Memories.

Here is a close-up of the Nestabilities and Edwin. I desided to follow my favorite cardmakers advise, Jacque, to round the edges of the image a little bit for a dimension. This became so cute!!! I surely recommend it to anyone :D

The layer under the image and the Nestabilities are on 3D cusions for more dimensions.

I hope you liked my card. And I would love a comment or two and some more followers ;o)
