BasicGrey Challenges

Hiya!
Well, I did more cards this weekend.
Those two are for the Basic Grey Challenge and the deal was to use this photo as an inspiration for the card. This is what I came up with.
I also used this sketch over at Mojo Monday blog and I find it just perfect for babycards!!!

Here are my cards:

Mother and daughter cardmaking time!!!

Hi everyone!!!
Well, finally I manage to get my ass going and make some cards!!!
Last Saturday me and my little girl (who is turning 6 years in just few weeks!!!) sat down and did some cardmaking!!! We used the sketch over at Midnight Madness Challenge Blog and we had sooo much fun!!! What a great idea to have two different verisons of the same sketch :D
Just perfect for mothers and daughers (or sons) to have some quality time together and do some cardmaking. At least, we had a blast ;o)
Here are our cards...
Ástrós Erla's card:

My card:
I didn't help Ástrós Erla very much. She chose the papers, flowers, ribbon and the image all by herself. She also did all the colouring herself. I only helped her glueing everything together and fixed the image a little bit for her (she asked me to) where her colouring had gone a little bit out of hand ;)

Few months ago I came across this wonderful blog.
It's a Swedish blog and the girl's name is Hanna. I say it's a girl because she is only thirteen, yes 13!!! She is just amazing, I'll tell you!!!
But she is soooo talented and already, she's a DT member at Magnolia's :)
How cool is that for a thirteen year old?!?!?!
Please, check out her blog and she also have a blog candy that ends March 5th. There is a link on my sidebar ;)

I'm slowly getting there...

Hi everybody!
I'm still alive, even though the snow is almost drowning us here in Norway!!!
It doesn't seem like it going to stop but I hope it will sooner than later. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE snow, but this is getting out of hand I think. The snow in our garden is around 1 meter high at this point and getting higher as it is snowing outside as we speak.
I've been wondering how to organize my scrapbooking supplies and since I didn't have a table to work on, I got this great idea to get our kitchentable out of the garage and use that for the time being. It's now up in my little corner and I'm just trying to organize my stuff so I can start to do something creative again!!! My fingers are itching and they are itching bad so this will be done very soon... I hope.
Few days ago I came across this great blog: CRAFTY STORAGE
Have you guys seen it before???
It's absolutely amazing and what a great overview of many different storage ideas!!!
Well, browsing through that blog I found another fantastic blog, Stacy sure knows how to organize and she just became my rolemodel for organizing!!!

Oh, and before I forget...
Jacque has some wonderful SWEET STUFF give-away again... There is a picture and a link on my sidebar ;)

Hugs for now,

Happy new Year and long time no see!!! Oh, and yes - have you seen Jacque's blogcandy???

Hello everyone!!!
First of all, Happy New Year and I'm sorry that you havn't seen me for awhile now.
There is a reason and pretty good one too... In December I packed all of my stuff and in the beginning of January, I moved with my family to Norway - hopefully to have a better life!!!
Now, I'm trying to organize all of my things, in a new home and all I've done with my scrapbooking stuff is to look at my boxes and unpacking all of my cardstock - that's it!!!
My fingers are itching for some scrapbookingtime but unfortunatly I have a problem, I don't have a table that I can use as a scrapbookingtable, so I have a bit of a dilemma as you can see :o/
But I hope I can do something about that soon...

But have yoy guys seen this fantastic sweet stuff AND the blogcandy that Jacque is giving away???
It's just fantastic!!!

There are links on my sidebar ;)

One Card - 4 Different Challenges!!!

Hi, there!

Yes, belive it or not but I managed to make just one card this evening and combine 4 different challenges at the same time!!!
It sure was a challenge, I can tell you.
First of all, I used this sketch from Friday Sketchers:

And this is how my card turned out like:

This card also fits the following challenges:
Just Magnolia - Monochrome theme
Daring Cardmakers - Getting punchy with it; Use your newest punch (corner punch from EK Success)
Quixotic Challenges - Birthdays

Quixotic Challenges is a brand new Challenge blog and this is their very first challenge!!! If you participate in all their challenges each month you will maximise your chances of winning a monthly prize that they'll have ;)

Oh, and I promised you a picture of my little princess, holding her card proudly and here she is!
Her name is Ástrós Erla (Ást = love) (rós = rose).

MMSC25 - Midnight Madness Challenge and SSS challenge

Wow, this sketch was sooo difficult for me to follow!!!
But not for my little angel, Astros Erla.
She is only 5, but already making cards ;)
Mine is for both MMSC 25 and Simon Says Stamp challenge where the theme was "all that glitters."
Here is the sketch from MMSC:

And here is my card:

The flower is spayed with Glimmer Mist, Pink Taffy.
Tilda has som Stickles in her dress.
Astros Erla made a card following the same sketch and I helped her cutting the papers, inking and glueing but she chose the papers and the images to stamp all by her self and and she colored them and used pencils herself.
The card is Bazzill bling - yellow and the circles are also bling but dark red.
I'll add a picture of her here tomorrow, holding her card proudly ;)
